Clever Sync Pause

You can pause the sync between Clever and Sadlier Connect so rosters and accounts are not updated nightly. App Sync Pause temporarily disables data updates to Sadlier Connect. This allows currently shared users to maintain stable access during transitions in SIS data (for example, during summer school or annual rollover). Disabling the pause will make the most current data in Clever available to this app.


As the District Admin in Clever go to My Applications on your Dashboard.












Choose the Sadlier Connect app.





Choose the Settings tab under Sadlier Connect.


Click the Turn On App Sync Pause button to pause the sync to Sadlier Connect.
When paused:
  • All users shared prior to enabling can continue to use the app
  • Changes in your Clever data, including custom data, will not be reflected in the app
  • Sharing settings can be edited but the resulting data changes will not take effect until the app sync is unpaused

Once you have the coming school year data/rosters syncing to Clever, disable the pause by clicking the Turn off App Sync Pause button. 

You can unpause data at any time. When you unpause:

  • Your updated data in Clever will be made available to the application
  • If you made changes to your sharing while the app was locked, these will take effect once the application syncs your data
  • Apps can resume syncing your updated data as normal
