Classlink - Dataguard masking

Classlink offers Dataguard - a feature that masks information being shared to Sadlier Connect.  As of April 2023, just the first name, middle name, last name and class name can be masked. Sadlier Connect does support masked names.

To implement Dataguard, access Roster Server and access Applications.

Select the Dataguard symbol next to Sadlier Connect.

Under Users, choose the fields you wish to have masked.


Click Save.



After the overnight sync, user information will appear masked in Sadlier Connect.


Username, email, sourcedID and other identifiers are all being considered for masking in the future.
